The cathedral they are building in Bucharest will cost 1,440,000,000 lei.. equivalent to 180,000,000 meal tickets of ~8 lei each
This is not the cathedral in Bucharest, but the one they are building in Oradea, probably the most impressive building in town to be. As a lover of architecture I say this is wow, as a human being, i say it is so unnecessary and the money was better used for something else, as for God, who said he needed golden palaces to live in?
